Sales Executive

Job description: Join a well-established sales team where you'll combine account management with new business development to drive profitable growth. Sales Executive Andover Salary: £25,000-£27,000 Plus performance related bonus The role: Our client is recruiting for a Sales Executive to join their well established sales team. The role combines account management with proactive new business development, with a clear focus on growing profitable sales and building strong customer relationships. Working: Monday to Thursday 08:30am to 17:00pm - Friday 08:30am to 12:30pm Key responsibilities: * Manage and grow existing customer accounts, identifying opportunities to increase spending and broaden the products supplied * Develop new business through prospecting, customer contact and converting enquiries and leads into orders * Follow up quotations, samples and open opportunities consistently to maximise conversion * Take ownership of customers from initial enquiry through to order fulfilment and after-sales support * Coordinate forward orders for key accounts and work closely with Purchasing and suppliers on bespoke requirements * Maintain awareness of market activity, competitor pricing and opportunities that could support sales growth What we are looking for: * Sales or customer-facing commercial experience is preferred, but we will also consider an ambitious candidate looking to build a career in sales * Confident communicator who is comfortable speaking with customers, following up opportunities and asking for the order * Commercially aware, organised and self-motivated, with a practical approach to getting things done * Able to build long-term relationships and work well with colleagues across the business
