We are working with a well-established manufacturing business located in Middlesbrough who are seeking an experienced and proactive Sales Office Manager to lead their internal sales function and support the delivery of accurate, timely and commercially competitive quotations.

Responsibilities:
Lead and support the Key Account Executive and Internal Sales teams
Assist the Sales Manager with the day-to-day management of sales activities, workloads and team priorities
Oversee the preparation of quotations in line with commercial procedures, ensuring accuracy before final approval
Maintain and improve sales office policies, procedures and best practices
Drive enquiry progression, quotation conversion and pipeline management through regular performance reviews
Act as a key liaison between sales, estimating, design, production, projects and senior management
Maintain accurate enquiry, quotation and order information within ERP/SAP systems
Monitor sales KPIs including quotation turnaround times, conversion rates, pipeline movement and forecast accuracy
Coach and support team members, promoting excellent customer service, commercial awareness and process compliance
Escalate issues promptly and work collaboratively to resolve challenges affecting customer commitments or delivery
Review sales incentive applications to ensure eligibility prior to payment
Key Skills & Experience:
Previous experience managing or supervising an internal sales or sales office team
Strong organisational, planning and prioritisation skills
Excellent communication xwzovoh and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple departments
Experience working with ERP/SAP systems or similar business software
Commercial awareness with the ability to make sound decisions
A proactive, positive attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
