Job Title: SC Cleared Labourers Location: Chester We are seeking a dedicated Labourer with Security Clearance (SC) to join our operational team until spring next year, on a newbuild project on a Nuclear site. This role involves performing manual tasks and supporting ground workers in environments requiring SC clearance, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with security protocols. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and capable of working effectively within a team to meet project objectives. We will need candidates who are available for weekend work, hours on site will vary at the beginning of the project being 45hrs minimum a week up to 60hrs a week. Responsibilities • Assist with site preparation, including unloading materials and setting up equipment in accordance with safety standards • Support skilled trades by providing manual assistance during construction or maintenance activities • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are stored securely • Follow all health and safety procedures diligently to uphold a safe working environment • Perform routine tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials as directed • Support security protocols by adhering to access controls and safeguarding sensitive areas • Report any safety concerns or irregularities immediately to supervisors • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks Qualifications • Valid, in date Security Clearance (SC) is essential • CSCS graded card is essential • Proven experience in manual labour roles within secure or sensitive environments preferred • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks consistently and safely • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations applicable to site work • Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately • Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team • Basic knowledge of site safety procedures and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) If you are interested in this position please apply with your CV via this website or call Brendon at Russell Taylor head office Important Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
