SC Cleared User Researcher | Central GovernmentHybrid | Bristol, London or NewcastleUp to £550 per day (Inside IR35)6-Month ContractActive SC Clearance RequiredWe're supporting a major Central Government programme and are looking for an experienced User Researcher to join a high-performing digital team delivering impactful public services.This role offers the opportunity to influence the design and delivery of services used by millions of citizens, ensuring decisions are driven by genuine user needs and aligned with GDS standards and best practice .Essential RequirementsActive SC Clearance (must be current and transferable)Proven experience working within Central GovernmentStrong knowledge of GDS Service Manual principles and practicesExtensive experience planning, conducting and analysing user researchExperience working within agile, multidisciplinary teamsExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsKey ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver a range of qualitative and quantitative user research activitiesConduct interviews, usability testing, surveys and discovery researchAnalyse findings and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders and delivery teamsChampion user-centred design principles throughout the service lifecycleWork closely with Service Designers, Interaction Designers, Product Managers and DevelopersSupport evidence-based decision-making across complex digital transformation programmesEnsure research activities are inclusive, accessible and aligned to GDS standardsContract DetailsRate: Up to £550 per dayIR35: Inside IR35Duration: Initial 6 monthsLocation: Bristol, London or NewcastleWorking Pattern: Hybrid, with 1-2 days per week onsiteStart Date: ASAPThis is an excellent opportunity for an SC Cleared User Researcher to contribute to a major government transformation programme while working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.Reasonable Adjustments:Respect and equality are core values to us.
