School Caretaker

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and proactive Caretaker to join a Facilities Management team working within a school in Borehamwood. This is a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the site, maintaining a safe, clean, and well-managed environment for staff, students, and visitors. Working Hours Monday to Friday ASAP - 31/08/26 8 hours per day between 7:00 - 18:00 Weekly pay £13.76 per hour Key Responsibilities As a School Caretaker, you will: Provide essential caretaker support to ensure smooth day-to-day school operations Carry out regular building compliance checks to maintain health and safety standards Respond promptly and professionally to the needs of building users, including staff, students, and visitors Maintain a proactive, hands-on approach to site maintenance and support tasks Work collaboratively as part of a supportive facilities management team Ensure the school environment remains safe, secure, and well-maintained at all times Requirements Enhanced DBS certificate (required) Previous caretaking, facilities, or site maintenance experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills A proactive, reliable, and flexible attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team What We Offer Immediate start available Weekly pay Supportive working environment within a professional facilities management team Apply with an up to date CV or call Luis on 07483 332965 TPBN1_UKTJ
