Assistant Librarian/ Resource Assistant – Term Time Only | Up to £20.60 per hour (PAYE)

Passionate about books, learning, and supporting young people?We’re recruiting an Assistant Librarian to join a thriving school environment – a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on student learning and engagement.

Working alongside the School Librarian, you’ll play a vital role in delivering an efficient, welcoming and inspiring library service to both students and staff.

You will:

• Manage issuing and returning of library stock
• Catalogue and prepare new resources for use
• Support students in accessing online and physical materials
• Run the overdue system and maintain library organisation
• Promote reading through engaging library activities
• Supervise students and support a positive library environment
• Assist with the library management system and stock control

You’ll also step in to cover the Librarian when required, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
