School Pastoral Manager (Temporary)

Five Education are looking for a caring and reliable Learning Mentor to support pupils in schools in Winscombe, with a particular focus on supporting children with autism. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, understanding, and confident in supporting pupils with additional needs within the classroom. The school has great facilities and friendly, supportive staff. Supporting pupils with autism, either 1:1 or in small groups - Helping pupils engage with learning activities and daily routines - Working closely with teachers and other support staff We're looking for someone who: - Has experience supporting children with autism (professional or personal) - Understands the importance of safeguarding and child welfare Experience in a school or SEND setting is preferred, but a positive attitude and the right approach are essential. Hold a current DBS check registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one * *Please note, if you do not have a Non-Voluntary Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, we will need to help you process a new one at a cost of £62.70.
