- A Level, BTEC & GCSELocation: South Yorkshire Contract: Full-time / Part-time / Temporary & Permanent opportunities Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience and qualifications) Start Date: ASAP / September starts availableWe are currently recruiting Science Lecturers and Teachers across South Yorkshire to deliver A Level, BTEC, and GCSE Science.

Whether your specialism is Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Combined Science, we have opportunities across schools, sixth forms, and FE colleges.The RoleYou will deliver high-quality Science teaching across A Level, BTEC, and/or GCSE , supporting learners to achieve strong academic outcomes and progress into higher education, apprenticeships, or careers in STEM.Key responsibilities include:Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons within your specialismTeach A Level, BTEC and/or GCSE ScienceDifferentiate teaching to support mixed-ability learnersAssess progress and provide clear, constructive feedbackSupport learners with practical work, coursework, and exam preparationContribute to curriculum delivery and departmental successMaintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environmentEssential RequirementsQTS, QTLS, PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualificationExperience teaching A Level, BTEC or GCSE ScienceStrong subject knowledge in your specialismConfident delivering both theory and practical lessonsExcellent classroom management and communication skillsEnhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)DesirableExperience within Further Education or Sixth Form settingsAbility to teach across multiple levels (GCSE, BTEC, A Level)Strong track record of learner achievement and progressionWhat's on OfferOpportunities across schools, sixth forms, and FE collegesFlexible working options (permanent, temporary, part-time)Competitive salary and pay ratesSupportive departments and leadership teamsAccess to modern labs and teaching facilitiesOngoing CPD and career progression opportunitiesReady to Apply?If you're a passionate Science Teacher or Lecturer looking for your next opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.
