Sea Freight Forwarding Operator

Our client is a leading independent Freight Forwarder now looking for a Sea Freight Operator to join their growing team in Manchester to operate and manage the sea freight exports service Key responsibilities include quoting, handling sea freight exports documentation, liaising with shipping lines, issuing instructions to agents, customs entries, customer service. Managing the process from start to finish We are looking for candidates with: A customer focused driven mindset A minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in Sea freight forwarding movements Excellent written and verbal communication skills A proactive approach to problem solving The role offers: Basic salary of £30,000-£40,000 dependent upon experience and skills Bonus scheme Private healthcare scheme Pension scheme Salary sacrifice car scheme 24 days holiday per annum, plus bank holidays (additional 2 days after 5 years' service and a further 2 days after 10 years, capped at 28 days) 37.5 hours per week
