Position: Secondary SEMH Outreach Advisor (L6 - L10) Location: 6 Brixton Hill, London, Lambeth, SW2 1RW Start Date: ASAP (Immediate start required) Contract Duration: 6+ Months Working Hours: 35 hours per week Pay Rate: PAYE: £325.00 per day Job Reference: OR(phone number removed) Job Responsibilities Provide SEMH and behaviour outreach support to mainstream schools to improve inclusion and reduce suspensions and permanent exclusions. Support schools to identify pupils with SEMH needs early and implement effective intervention strategies. Coordinate and deliver the Experts at Hand model, ensuring timely access to specialist SEMH advice and support. Manage a caseload of pupils with SEMH needs, behavioural challenges or those at risk of exclusion. Work collaboratively with schools, families and multi-agency professionals to develop coordinated support plans. Deliver training, coaching and professional development for teachers, SENCOs, inclusion leads and pastoral staff. Support schools to develop inclusive behaviour policies, SEMH strategies and whole-school approaches. Analyse attendance, behaviour, suspension and exclusion data to inform interventions and service improvement. Support reintegration of pupils through the Fair Access Panel and alternative provision pathways. Facilitate school-to-school collaboration and share best practice across educational settings.
