- September Start Locations: Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire Moorlands, Stafford, Crewe, Northwich Are you a qualified Secondary Supply Teacher looking for flexible work from September? Academics, a reputable education recruitment agency based in Stoke-on-Trent, is recruiting passionate and reliable Secondary Supply Teachers to provide flexible, short-term, and ad-hoc cover in secondary schools across Stoke-on-Trent and all surrounding areas.
Role Overview: Deliver pre-set lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities may be available) Maintain student engagement and effective classroom behaviour Ensure continuity of learning during teacher absence Adapt confidently to different school settings No planning or marking required Requirements: UK-recognised teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS) Recent experience teaching in secondary schools Strong classroom and behaviour management skills Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) Flexible, reliable and passionate about education Able to travel across Staffordshire and Cheshire Why Choose Academics?
