Security Manager

Security Manager / Security Co-ordinator Salary: £41,700 Location: Basildon, Essex Hours: Monday to Friday (40 hours a week) As part of the security management team this role plays an integral part in the co-ordination and delivery of on-site security services and associated projects. Your role will combine operational leadership, project support, compliance and contractor/supplier management. Applicants should meet the following criteria: * We are looking for a security professional with strong administration and co-ordination skills. You could be a security manager looking for a new role or have relevant military/Police experience. * Positive and professional attitude with the ability to work collaboratively. * Proactive with the ability to identify process improvement and implement any changes. * Strong administration and IT skills * Have the ability to achieve SC clearance Key duties and responsibilities will include: * Assist in the operational delivery of security across the estate. * Oversee the delivery of security systems including management of 3rd party providers * Co-ordinate the delivery of special projects * Help to create and maintain security culture in line with UK Government Security requirements * Liaise with internal and external stakeholders * Ensure compliance with UK Government Security Policy Frameworks * Maintenance of all security procedures and implementation of policies * Ensure that contract SLA’s and KPI’s are met and exceeded * Assist with the long-term strategic planning of the security function * Monitor the 3rd party supplier provision of security services including manned guarding and security system maintenance * Support all awareness, education and training related to security * Provide data and reporting on all security activities Established as a Security Recruitment specialist Momentum Recruitment provide a quality focused recruitment service for the provision of permanent, contract & temporary staff across the EMEA region.
