Installation Manager PURPOSE OF ROLE Due to continued growth and an increasing workload, we are looking to recruit experienced self-employed Window & Door Installers to join our expanding
New Build Commercial
installation team. We work with leading national and regional housebuilders, delivering high-quality window and door installations across new build residential developments. We are
seeking
reliable, skilled installers who take pride in their workmanship and are looking to build a long-term working relationship with a successful and growing company. Whether you work independently or as part of an installation team, we would like to hear from you. MAIN DUTIES You
will
be responsible for
the installation of windows, external doors and associated glazing products on new build housing developments, ensuring every installation meets manufacturer specifications, current Building
Regulations
and site quality standards. Your responsibilities will include: Installing uPVC, aluminium and composite
windows
and doors.
Reading plot schedules and installation drawings.
Completing installations to a consistently high standard.
Ensuring compliance with manufacturer installation guidelines.
Reporting damaged or defective products before installation.
Maintaining a clean,
safe
and organised work area.
Working closely with Site Managers and our Contracts Team.
Completing installation and quality documentation where
required
.
Following all site health and safety procedures.
DESIR
ABLE
KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES Experience with
PVCu,
Aluminium
& Composite
window and door systems.
Knowledge of NHBC standards and current Building Regulations.
SSSTS,
IPAF
or PASMA qualifications.
Ability to work as part of a two-person installation team.
E
SSENTIAL Valid *CSCS Card* (essential).
Proven experience installing windows and doors on new build housing developments.
Registered as self-employed with a UTR number.
Own professional installation tools.
Public Liability Insurance.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good communication
skills and a professional attitude on site.
Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
