The Role Provide 1:1 support for pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs Support children who may experience anxiety, emotional dysregulation, or barriers to learning Deliver targeted small-group interventions focused on confidence, resilience, and social skills Implement effective behaviour management strategies to support positive outcomes Build strong, trusting relationships that help pupils feel understood and valued Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SEN professionals, and external agencies to support individual learning plans Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment across the school What We're Looking For A patient, resilient, and empathetic nature Confidence supporting children with SEN, SEMH, or behavioural needs Strong communication and relationship-building skills A genuine interest in psychology, mental health, education, or child development Previous experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable individuals (desirable but not essential) What's on Offer?
