We are currently recruiting Aspiring SEN Learning Support Assistants to join a highly respected specialist autism school located just outside East Grinstead.

The Role As an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with experienced staff to support pupils both academically and socially throughout the school day.
You will receive training and guidance to develop your understanding of autism and specialist communication strategies while helping pupils achieve their individual learning goals.
Responsibilities include:
Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
Helping children develop communication and social skills
Encouraging independence and confidence
Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour
Assisting with personalised learning programmes
Working alongside teachers, therapists and support staff
Creating a safe, positive and engaging learning environment
