SEN Primary Teacher Specialist Education Setting | Frodsham, Cheshire Full-Time | Term-Time | September 2026 We are seeking an adaptable and committed SEN Primary Teacher to join a specialist education setting in Frodsham, Cheshire. This is an opportunity for a qualified teacher who can look beyond a conventional classroom model and deliver purposeful, individualised learning for pupils with a range of additional needs. The setting supports pupils with autism, complex learning needs, communication difficulties and sensory needs, with education shaped around individual strengths, abilities, interests and aspirations. The Role This position is centred around responsive teaching rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. You will create and deliver learning that is accessible, meaningful and appropriately challenging, while supporting pupils to develop academically, socially and personally. Your responsibilities will include: Planning and delivering engaging primary lessons. Differentiating learning around individual needs and abilities. Working towards personalised EHCP outcomes and learning objectives. Using structured, consistent and creative teaching approaches. Supporting communication, confidence, independence and life skills. Providing opportunities to apply learning in practical, real-world contexts. Monitoring progress and using assessment to inform future teaching. Creating a calm, purposeful and inclusive learning environment. Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and other professionals. Recognising individual strengths and using them to increase engagement.About You We are looking for a teacher who combines strong classroom practice with the ability to think differently about individual learners. You will have: QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Primary teaching experience. Current safeguarding/child protection training. The ability to adapt and differentiate provision effectively. Strong relationship-building and classroom management skills. Excellent communication and teamwork. A patient, consistent and solution-focused approach. A genuine commitment to improving outcomes for pupils with additional needs. Why This Opportunity?
