SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Birmingham, B16 Contract: Long-term/Permanent Day Rate: £108 - £125 Start Date: September 2026 Commutable From: Harborne, Edgbaston, Smethwick, Selly Oak, Bearwood The Opportunity: Long Term Futures are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the B16 area from September 2026. This rewarding role is based within the school's dedicated SEN Resource Base, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASD), Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). The role will also involve personal care responsibilities, supporting pupils with their daily routines while promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing. The school is well-established with a highly supportive leadership team and experienced SEN staff, creating a welcoming and collaborative environment where both pupils and staff are encouraged to thrive.
