The school specialises in supporting pupils with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), providing a nurturing and structured environment where every learner can thrive. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a supportive team committed to delivering personalised learning experiences that develop confidence, independence, communication skills, and emotional wellbeing. The Role As an SEN Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and meaningful learning experiences tailored to the individual needs of your pupils. Working alongside skilled support staff, therapists, and families, you will help create an environment where students feel safe, understood, and empowered to achieve their full potential. You will: Deliver creative and differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of learners with ASD and SLCN. Create a structured and inclusive classroom environment that promotes engagement and positive outcomes. Support pupils in developing communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, and independence. Monitor pupil progress and contribute to EHCP reviews and target setting. Work collaboratively with families, therapists, and multidisciplinary professionals. Champion an inclusive approach that celebrates individual strengths and achievements. About You The successful candidate will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Have experience working with pupils with Autism, Speech and Language Needs, or other SEND needs. Demonstrate a strong understanding of EHCPs and personalised learning approaches. Be patient, adaptable, and committed to providing high-quality SEND education. Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Be passionate about supporting children and young people to achieve positive outcomes.
