SEN Teaching Assistant - Basildon - September Start Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Basildon, starting in September. The school is looking for a committed practitioner with excellent behaviour management skills, patience, and a genuine desire to help pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. 📌 CONTRACT DETAILS Location - Basildon Position - SEN Teaching Assistant Type of work - SEN support within the classroom and on a 1:1 or small-group basis Start date - September Duration - Ongoing / Long-term Full time/part-time - Full time Rate of pay - £90-£110 per day (depending on experience) Hours - 08:30am - 15:45pm 📚 EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS Experience supporting children with SEN in a UK school setting (placements accepted) Experience working with pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or other additional needs is desirable Relevant TA, SEN, or childcare qualifications desirable Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable) ✔️ TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one Provide two professional child-related references 💼 OTHER INFORMATION If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with an up-to-date CV.
