Protocol Education is recruiting dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work across a range of Primary, Secondary and specialist SEND schools throughout Bristol.
Whether you're looking for flexible supply work, a long-term placement, or a full-time opportunity, we have roles to suit your experience and availability.
What you'll be doing
Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEND.
Supporting children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, PMLD, MLD, SLD and complex needs.
Assisting teachers with classroom activities and differentiated learning.
Encouraging pupils' confidence, independence and communication.
Supporting positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
Helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.
Creating a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment.
Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and wider school teams.
We are looking for candidates who:
Have experience working with children or young people with SEND.
Have previous experience as an SEN TA, Teaching Assistant, LSA or similar.
Are patient, compassionate and resilient.
Have strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Can confidently support pupils with different learning and behavioural needs.
Are passionate about helping every child reach their potential.
Relevant experience in support work, youth work, care, mentoring or working with vulnerable young people may also be considered.
