SEN Teaching Assistant - Bury | Full-Time | September Start

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs within a welcoming primary school in Bury.

This role would suit someone who is passionate about inclusive education and enjoys helping children overcome barriers to learning. You will work closely with teachers and other professionals to ensure pupils receive the individualised support they need to thrive.

The role:

• Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant position
• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs
• Providing one-to-one and small-group support
• Helping pupils access classroom learning
• Supporting communication, confidence and independence
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
• Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment
