SEN Teaching Assistant / Special Needs Teaching Assistant We are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants/Special Needs Teaching Assistants to work in SEN schools. This role is ideal for a SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference to children with additional needs. SEN Teaching Assistant / Special Needs Teaching Assistant the role: As an SEN Teaching Assistant / Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with a variety of needs, including: * Autism (ASD) – verbal and non-verbal * PMLD * Challenging behaviour You will work 1:1 or in small groups to support learning, communication, and emotional development. SEN Teaching Assistant / Special Needs Teaching Assistant Responsibilities: * Supporting pupils as an SEN Teaching Assistant * Working with children with complex special needs * Managing challenging behaviour positively * Supporting classroom learning and routines * Assisting with personal care where required * Working closely with teachers and SEN staff SEN Teaching Assistant / Special Needs Teaching Assistant requirements: * Experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant/Special Needs Teaching Assistant (preferred) * Confidence working with ASD, PMLD, or challenging behaviour * Calm, patient, and reliable approach * Genuine interest in SEN education Apply now on CV Library to work as an SEN Teaching Assistant / Special Needs Teaching Assistant
