Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (Ages 4-16) - Full-Time

Role OverviewWe are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Knowsley, Liverpool, supporting pupils aged 4-16 with a range of additional learning needs. Working closely with teachers and the wider multidisciplinary team, you will help create a positive, inclusive learning environment where every pupil can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities- Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs both in the classroom and during individual or small group interventions
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging, differentiated lessons across the curriculum
- Help implement EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
- Promote pupils' independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing
- Support the management of behaviour using positive and consistent strategies
- Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teaching staff
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, parents, and external professionals
