A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Tower Hamlets is looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with Special Educational Needs. The school is seeking a confident, resilient, and patient individual who can build strong relationships, provide consistent support, and become a positive role model both inside and outside of the classroom. This SEN Teaching Assistant role is ideal for candidates with experience supporting pupils with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, or behavioural needs who are passionate about helping children reach their full potential. The RoleAs a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work on a 1:1 basis, supporting a pupil throughout the school day. You will help them access learning, develop social and emotional skills, improve confidence, and engage positively within the classroom environment. Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO, you will implement personalised learning strategies while encouraging independence and positive behaviour.
