Special Needs Teaching Assistant – Sale Are you a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with complex additional needs? We are currently looking for an experienced Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming SEND setting in Sale on a long-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a genuine difference to the lives of children with complex needs and who can provide patient, nurturing and consistent support. The Role As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting pupils with a range of complex needs, including Autism and children who are non-verbal. You will work closely with teaching staff and other professionals to provide personalised support and help pupils engage with learning and develop their independence. The Ideal Candidate Previous experience working in a UK SEND setting is essential Experience supporting children with complex needs Experience working with children with Autism Experience supporting non-verbal children A patient, empathetic and nurturing approach Strong communication and interpersonal skills Able to remain calm and positive when faced with challenging situations Passionate about supporting children with additional needs Reliable, resilient and committed to making a difference Why Apply?
