About the Role
As a SEN Tutor, you will deliver personalised tuition to children with additional learning needs, helping them develop academically while building confidence and independence.
Deliver engaging one-to-one tuition tailored to each learner's individual needs
Plan and adapt lessons in line with individual learning goals and EHCPs where appropriate
Support children who are unable to attend or access mainstream education
Monitor learner progress and adapt teaching methods to maximise outcomes
Build positive relationships with learners, families and relevant professionals
Encourage confidence, resilience and a positive attitude towards learning
About You
We're looking for enthusiastic education professionals who are passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and helping them reach their full potential.
Experience supporting children or young people with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, dyslexia or other additional learning needs
Ability to tailor teaching strategies to suit different learning styles and abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patient, compassionate and committed to delivering outstanding learner support
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), previous tutoring experience or relevant educational experience is desirable but not essential
A proactive approach with excellent organisational and time management skills
