Contract: Temporary for fixed term for one year

The EPA Trust is seeking to appoint a caring, patient and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisor to join our dedicated team within our Communication & Interaction (C&I) Hub, based at Hanborough Manor CE Primary School.

Our C&I Hub provides specialist support for children with autism and communication and interaction needs from across the Trust. We are committed to creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child feels safe, valued and able to flourish.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to children's daily experiences. This may include supporting children with eating their lunch, developing social communication skills, encouraging positive play and helping them regulate their emotions through a nurturing approach.

We are looking for someone who:
  • Has a calm, patient and caring nature.
  • Enjoys working with children with additional needs, particularly autism and communication and interaction differences.
  • Can build positive, trusting relationships with children.
  • Is able to support children's emotional regulation and wellbeing.
  • Can work effectively as part of a specialist team.
  • Has high expectations and a commitment to inclusion.
  • Shares the EPA Trust's commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
We can offer:
  • The opportunity to work within a specialist Communication & Interaction Hub supporting children from across the EPA Trust.
  • A friendly, supportive and highly skilled team.
  • Excellent training and professional development opportunities.
  • A rewarding role where you will make a genuine difference to children's lives every day.
  • A Trust committed to inclusion, wellbeing and enabling every child to achieve their full potential.
