SEND Assessment Team Manager North East London | £400 per day | Hybrid Working We are currently recruiting for an experienced SEND Assessment Team Manager to join a Local Authority in Northeast London. Assignment Details 💰 £400 per day 📍 North East London 🏢 2 days per week in the office 📅 Interim contract Key Responsibilities Provide strong operational leadership and oversight of the SEND Assessment Team. Manage assessment and workloads across the team. Track cases against statutory deadlines and improve overall timeliness. Identify and unblock delays within the assessment process. Monitor team performance and ensure cases are progressing effectively. Provide effective line management, support and direction to SEND Officers. Support wider service improvement across the statutory assessment process.About You We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate: A minimum of 1 year's proven leadership experience within a Local Authority SEND service. Strong knowledge of the statutory EHC needs assessment process. Experience managing SEND Assessment / Case Officer teams. A track record of improving performance and statutory timeliness. Strong operational management and problem-solving skills.
