Overview Were looking for a fully Qualified Accountant to join our International General Accounting team in Glasgow, on an 18-month fixed-term contract. Youll play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely management accounts, supporting process improvements, and contributing to exciting projects like integrating newly acquired entities. How you'll make an impact In this role, youll:
Work closely with regional finance teams to ensure accurate results and reporting.
Support the integration of newly acquired entities into central group processes.
Prepare journal entries and ensure theyre processed accurately and on time.
Assist with month-end reconciliations and collaborate with off-shore teams.
Provide commentary on monthly and quarterly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
Help centralise accounting tasks and improve processes across the team.
Ensure compliance with SOX requirements and contribute to ad-hoc proj ects. About You Heres what youll bring to the role:
A professional accounting qualification (CA, ACCA, ICAS etc).
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
A flexible attitude and the ability to adapt to change.
Confidence to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
