Client Director / Senior Accountant Ferndown, Dorset | £32,500 + Commission | £45,000 OTE Full-time | Office-based | Permanent Are you an experienced Practice Accountant ready to take ownership of a client portfolio and step into a more senior, client-focused role? We’re recruiting for an established and growing accountancy practice looking for a confident Client Director / Senior Accountant to join their team in Ferndown. The Role You’ll manage your own portfolio of clients while overseeing a small team and ensuring a consistently high level of service. Key responsibilities include: Managing and developing a portfolio of clients Reviewing statutory accounts and corporation tax computations Ensuring accounts and VAT returns are completed on time Attending new client meetings and preparing quotes Allocating workloads and monitoring deadlines Supervising, mentoring and training junior team members Building strong, long-term client relationships What We’re Looking For Minimum 3 years’ accountancy practice experience AAT, ACCA or ACA qualified/part-qualified Strong knowledge of accounts and taxation Confident managing client relationships Comfortable supervising a small team Organised, accurate and commercially minded Package £32,500 basic + commission – £45,000 OTE Plus 25 days' holiday + bank holidays, study support, pension, duvet days, staff incentives, discounted gym membership, company events, on-site parking and regular staff breakfasts/lunches.
