Aztrum are proud to be working with a highly regarded and well-known architectural practice who are investing heavily in the growth of their London studio. They are looking to appoint a Senior or Associate Architect who will play a key role in shaping the future of the studio and building a team around them.
This is more than a traditional project-based role. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to establish themselves as a key figure within the London office, helping to develop the team, win and deliver exciting projects and influence the direction of the studio. The long-term ambition is for this individual to progress into a Studio Lead position.
The role will initially require 2–3 days per week in the London office, with the opportunity to take real ownership of the studio as it continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities for this Senior / Associate Architect role:
• Play a central role in the growth and development of the London studio
• Help build, mentor and develop a high-performing architectural team
• Lead and deliver a diverse portfolio of projects across multiple sectors
• Take ownership of projects from concept through to completion
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and project stakeholders
• Support business development, new opportunities and the continued growth of the London portfolio
• Contribute to the strategic direction and culture of the London studio
• Work towards taking on full Studio Lead responsibilities as the team develops
Key Requirements for this Senior / Associate Architect role:
• Qualified Architect with strong post-qualification experience
• Diverse portfolio demonstrating experience across a range of sectors and project types
• Proficiency in Revit is essential
• Strong project delivery and technical knowledge
• Proven ability to lead projects and manage project teams
• Confident communicator with strong client-facing and relationship-building skills
• Natural leadership qualities with the ambition to build and grow a team
• Commercially aware with an interest in business development and winning work
• Ambition to progress into a Studio Lead position
