Senior Associate Quantity Surveyor

Conrad Consulting is delighted to be recruiting for a Senior Associate Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a leading construction consultancy delivering major nuclear defence infrastructure programmes across the UK. This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced commercial professional looking to play a key role in the successful delivery of nationally significant projects while helping to grow and develop a high-performing commercial team. The Opportunity You'll provide commercial leadership across complex infrastructure programmes, working closely with senior client stakeholders while overseeing the delivery of multiple project packages. The position is based around Reading, with occasional travel to project sites as required. Responsibilities Leading commercial delivery across major infrastructure programmes Providing strategic commercial advice to clients Overseeing NEC contract administration and commercial governance Leading procurement strategy and risk management Managing project financial performance Mentoring and developing commercial teams Supporting business development and client relationship management About You Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying Extensive experience delivering major infrastructure, defence, nuclear or complex engineering projects Strong knowledge of NEC contracts or Alliance contracting Proven leadership and client-facing experience Chartered status (MRICS) preferred, although strong equivalent experience will also be considered Salary & Benefits £85,000 - £95,000 Hybrid and flexible working Comprehensive benefits package Leadership development opportunities Clear progression within a growing consultancy Opportunity to influence the delivery of nationally critical defence infrastructure
