Senior Automation Engineer (PCS7) | Outside IR35 | 6-Month Contract

We're currently seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to support a major site upgrade project within a highly regulated manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a significant automation programme, with work expected to continue well into next year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete software rewrite as part of a major upgrade project
- Technical and critical review of project documentation
- Vendor reviews and technical coordination
- Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
- Commissioning, Qualification & Validation (CSV) support
- Automation project delivery from design through implementation
Essential Requirements:
- Strong Siemens PCS7 experience (essential)
- Previous automation upgrade / migration project experience
- Experience within Pharmaceutical, Biopharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Medical Device, or Process Manufacturing environments
- FAT, SAT, CSV and commissioning experience
- Strong stakeholder and vendor management capabilities
Contract Details:
Site-based role (3-4 days per week)
Initial 6-month contract with likely extension
Outside IR35
Immediate start preferred, ideally no later than September
