Work on technically challenging, varied buildings
Supportive, close-knit team environment
The role Youll lead and deliver a range of building investigation and pathology projects , acting as the key point of contact for clients. Your work will include:
Intrusive & non-intrusive condition surveys
Defect diagnosis and root cause analysis
Concrete investigations (corrosion, deterioration)
Water ingress and faade issues
Non-destructive testing (GPR, ultrasonic, etc.)
Building investigations for repurposing and design input.
Coordinating laboratory testing and interpreting results.
Youll also:
Produce clear, practical, client-facing reports
Manage projects (programme, budget, quality)
Build strong client relationships
Deliver practical solutions.
Plan resources, allocate tasks and monitor performance.
Mentor junior team members
Contribute to technical and process improvements What were looking for
Background in Building Surveying, Structural Engineering, or similar
Experience with building investigations / defect diagnosis
Strong reporting and client-facing skills
Ready to take ownership or step up into project leadership
Commercial awareness and problem-solving mindset
