Senior Building Surveyor

Job Type: Permanent Start Date: Immediate Industry: Construction Location: Greater London & South  Salary & Package: Competitive Salary The Role & About the Client ITS Building People are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join a growing Building Surveying team based in Greater London. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Building Surveyor with 5–8 years' experience to work across a varied portfolio of residential and commercial properties, predominantly across London and the Southeast. The successful candidate will undertake a broad range of Building Surveying duties while working closely with clients, contractors and other professional consultants, as well as supporting junior members of the team. Key Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To: Undertaking residential and commercial building surveys. Preparing existing and proposed plans. Providing Party Wall and Contract Administration services. Undertaking dilapidation surveys and defect analysis. Preparing Licences to Alter and relevant reports. Carrying out regular site inspections and monitoring project progress. Managing actions, resolving issues and providing technical advice. Liaising with clients, contractors and other stakeholders. Supporting and mentoring junior team members. Developing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: 5–8 years' experience within Building Surveying or a relevant construction environment. BSc in Building Surveying or relevant degree (2:2 or above). Experience across residential and commercial building surveying. Experience with Party Wall, Contract Administration and dilapidations. Strong IT and Microsoft Office skills. CAD/BIM experience is beneficial. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong existing industry relationships and commercial awareness.
