Senior Care Assistant 36hrs Nights (all breaks Paid) Halesowen B62 8PQ Permanent - £14.45hr SPONSORSHIP IS NOT AVAILABLE We are looking for a Senior Care Assistant (36 Hours, 3 x 8pm-8am) Working in a new, purpose-built nursing home, we are looking for staff on nights. Based in Halesowen, you will be joining a fantastic group of homes, whose person-centred approach to care relies on the dedication and passion of our employees, who we expect to go the extra mile to improve the home experience and generate a relaxed and informal community within our homes. The home is a stunning, modern nursing home and you will be tasked with assisting with the resident’s care plan, supervising the caring team, delivering the highest standards of personalised care to residents. Ensure that at all times residents are treated with respect and dignity, and that individual’s rights to privacy, dignity, independence and choice are met. Key Responsibilities • To provide the highest level of personal care and attention to residents, following individual care plans carefully and ensuring that all contact is polite, friendly, warm and supportive. • To act as a key worker for a named group of residents, ensuring that these responsibilities are carried out in full (as defined in the training manual). Person specification • 2 years’ experience of working in an elderly care environment • NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care (Ideally or equivalent), or working towards Details • Permanent Contract paying £14.45/hr • Breaks Paid • 36 hours (3 shifts) a week, they are 8pm-8am Inc. alternative weekends. • Excellent public transport links
