Senior Cloud Engineer

Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to join our client-facing delivery team, supporting cloud operations, infrastructure deployments, and migration projects across enterprise environments.
• The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on expertise in cloud administration, automation, infrastructure management, and cloud migrations, with the ability to work directly with customers and provide technical leadership throughout project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support day-to-day cloud operations, administration, and implementation activities for enterprise customers.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure while ensuring performance, security, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation-first practices using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, ARM Templates, and PowerShell.
• Develop, maintain, and document automated deployment and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with Cloud Solution Architects and project teams to deliver cloud solutions aligned with customer requirements and architecture standards.
• Participate in cloud migration projects, including large-scale Azure VM migrations, database migrations, and cloud modernization initiatives.
• Support troubleshooting, incident management, root cause analysis, and issue resolution while ensuring SLA compliance.
• Engage customers during operational reviews, technical discussions, and service improvement initiatives.
• Recommend and implement optimizations to improve cloud performance, security, and operational efficiency.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and deployment artefacts.
• Stay current with cloud technologies, certifications, industry trends, and emerging best practices.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and provide technical guidance to team members where required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in cloud operations, cloud administration, infrastructure deployment, or cloud migration projects.
• Proven experience delivering customer-facing cloud solutions and support engagements.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.
