We are hiring for Senior Commercial Officer (Site Operations)

Location : Thurso

• Act as the primary commercial interface for leadership, bridging the gap between site operations and central commercial functions to ensure that 10-year strategies are operationally grounded and deliver measurable value
• Lead and develop a large, multidisciplinary team—including Procurement, Contract Management, and Quantity Surveying (QS) professionals—fostering a high-performance culture and enhancing commercial capability through mentoring.
• Oversee robust sourcing, contract management, and category strategies that align with Public Contracting Regulations and NEC frameworks, ensuring cost efficiency, compliance, and total cost of ownership (TCO) optimization
• Support the commercial execution of major infrastructure projects by managing complex supply chains, driving supplier innovation, and utilizing defined cost audits to maintain rigorous financial control.
• Proactively identify and mitigate commercial, legal, and operational risks while leading the business through periods of transformation and ambiguity within a highly regulated governance framework
• Successful candidates must be willing for Drugs & Alcohol testing and a DBS check prior to their start date
