Senior Cost Consultant | Construction

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Estimator to join a growing civil engineering and infrastructure contractor with an ambitious growth strategy and a strong pipeline of secured and upcoming work. Based in the North West, this role offers the opportunity to play a key part in securing major projects across the region. Working closely with senior stakeholders and operational teams, you will lead the production of high-quality tender submissions and help shape the future growth of the business. As a Senior Estimator, you will take ownership of the tendering process from initial enquiry through to submission, ensuring competitive, commercially sound, and technically robust bids are delivered on time and to the highest standard. Analyse project documentation, specifications, and contract requirements Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers Review project risks and opportunities to ensure commercially robust submissions Collaborate with operational and commercial teams during bid preparation We are looking for a commercially aware and technically capable estimator who can lead from the front and thrive in a fast-paced bidding environment. Previous experience in a Senior Estimator or Estimator role within civil engineering, infrastructure, rail, or construction Experience building relationships with supply chain partners and clients Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint HNC/HND or degree qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline Previous experience within civil engineering, rail, infrastructure, or utilities sectors If you're an experienced Estimator looking to take the next step in your career with a forward-thinking contractor delivering major infrastructure projects, we'd love to hear from you.
