Location: Camberley, Surrey. Salary: £50,000 - £59,000 + Company Car or £5,200 Car Allowance.

Job Overview
Leading the design of piled foundations, retaining structures and ground improvement schemes; designing ground anchors, soil nails and other specialist geotechnical solutions; reviewing and checking engineering calculations and technical reports; providing technical guidance and support throughout project delivery; liaising with project managers, site teams and clients to resolve engineering challenges; mentoring graduate and junior engineers; driving innovation and promoting best practice across the design team.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of piled foundations, retaining structures, and ground improvement schemes.
- Design ground anchors, soil nails, and other specialist geotechnical solutions.
- Review and check engineering calculations and technical reports.
- Provide technical guidance and support throughout project delivery.
- Liaise with project managers, site teams, and clients to resolve engineering challenges.
- Mentor graduate and junior engineers.
- Drive innovation and promote best practice across the design team.
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
- Previous experience within foundation engineering, geotechnical design or specialist ground engineering.
- Strong understanding of foundation design, retaining structures and ground improvement techniques.
- Experience with PLAXIS, WALLAP, the Oasys Suite and AutoCAD is desirable.
- Excellent technical, communication and leadership skills.
- Proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple projects.
