The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Design Engineer or a Design Engineer ready to take the lead on complex engineering projects, innovative product development, and technical design excellence? We're seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join a growing manufacturing organisation where you'll play a pivotal role in developing industry-leading engineered products and driving continuous improvement across the business

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of engineered products using advanced 3D CAD software.
  • Produce detailed manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and Bills of Materials.
  • Manage complex customer-driven projects from concept to production.
  • Drive new product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor and support Design Engineers within the team.
  • Collaborate with production teams to improve manufacturability and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards, regulations, and quality requirements.
  • Provide technical support for proposals, quotations, and customer specifications.

About You

  • Degree, HNC, or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in engineering design within a manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced 3D CAD experience, ideally SolidWorks.
  • Strong knowledge of fabricated and welded products.
  • Understanding of pressure vessel design and manufacturing processes.
