Why this business
Join a highly respected specialist in global commodity pricing and market intelligence, with more than 20 years of expertise in its core markets.
Its reporting and independent price assessments are relied upon by decision-makers across the global supply chain, with coverage spanning 75+ countries and pricing used within physical contracts and derivatives markets.
It combines the credibility and market influence of an established provider with the agility of a specialist business.
What you'll be doing
- Take genuine ownership of your market coverage, becoming a recognised expert in a fast-moving global commodity market.
- Build your own senior industry network across global producers, traders, distributors and brokers.
- Play an active role in shaping and improving the product, with the freedom to bring ideas and influence how coverage develops.
- Work directly alongside senior leadership and established market experts, with considerably more visibility than you'd typically have in a larger PRA.
- Represent the business internationally, attending key industry conferences and events around 3–4 times a year.
What you'll bring
- Established price reporting / commodity market reporting experience, with a strong track record of producing credible price assessments.
- Confidence engaging with senior market participants, building relationships and developing sources.
- Strong editorial and analytical judgement, with the ability to understand fast-moving, volatile markets quickly.
- A proactive, independent mindset and the confidence to take ownership and bring ideas.
- Direct nitrogen or fertilizer experience is highly attractive but not essential. Strong price reporters from adjacent markets including oil, energy, agriculture, grains and chemicals will also be considered.
Who this suits
You're an experienced price reporter who knows how to understand a market, build a trusted network and produce credible pricing and analysis – but you may be looking for more ownership than your current environment allows.
You want greater visibility, direct access to senior leadership and the freedom to influence how your market coverage develops, rather than navigating multiple layers of approval.
For the right person, there is also scope to take on broader responsibility as the team and product continue to develop. xwzovoh
