Senior Engineer Piling To £70k + Package + Subsistence Sizewell C, Suffolk | Major Infrastructure Project Im currently recruiting for a specialist piling contractor working on the Sizewell C project in Suffolk, and Im looking to speak with an experienced Senior Engineer to join their project team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Engineer with a strong background in piling, foundations or major infrastructure to take a key engineering role on one of the UK's largest and most technically challenging infrastructure projects. The Role As Senior Engineer, youll take ownership of engineering delivery across piling and foundation works, working closely with the project management, site and design teams to ensure works are delivered safely, accurately and to the required standards. Key responsibilities include: Leading engineering delivery across piling and foundation works Managing setting out, engineering controls and quality Reviewing drawings, specifications and construction information Managing technical queries and liaising with designers Supporting construction planning and programme delivery Identifying and resolving technical issues on site Managing and mentoring Site Engineers Monitoring works against specifications, tolerances and ITP requirements Supporting the wider project team with technical and engineering input Liaising with the client, principal contractor, designers and supply chain About You Im keen to speak with Senior Engineers who have: Proven experience in a Senior Engineering role on major projects Strong piling and/or foundation experience Experience within major civils or infrastructure Strong technical and commercial awareness Excellent knowledge of construction drawings, specifications and QA Experience managing and mentoring junior engineers Relevant engineering qualification Strong communication and problem-solving skills A proactive approach to engineering delivery, health, safety and quality The Opportunity Location: Sizewell C, Suffolk Sector: Piling / Foundations / Major Infrastructure Duration: Long-term project opportunity If youre an experienced Senior Engineer with a piling or foundations background and are looking for your next major project, Id be keen to have a confidential conversation.
