Senior Finance and Data Officer

We are looking for an experienced and analytical Senior Finance and Data Officer to join our Travel to School (T2S) service. This is a key role within a busy and impactful team that helps provide transport services for thousands of children and young people across North Northamptonshire.You will play a leading role in managing, analysing and interpreting financial and operational data to support effective decision-making, service performance and statutory financial reporting. Working closely with managers, finance colleagues and external stakeholders, you will ensure the service has access to accurate, meaningful information that drives continuous improvement and delivers value for money.As a senior member of the team, you will oversee key financial processes, support audit requirements, supervise the day-to-day work of a Commercial Assistant and contribute to the strategic development of the service. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining finance, data analysis and problem-solving within a role that makes a real difference to local communities.
