Senior Financial Planning Analyst - Temporary up to 16 months Contract type: Temporary: Fixed-Term Contract Hours: Full-Time Hybrid Hybrid with the expectation to be in the office 2 days per week Were looking for a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to join our Financial Planning and Analysis team on a temporary basis (up to 16 months). The role is responsible for providing the consolidated RNLI view to the Head of FP&A to support the Executive Team with Planning, Forecasting and Monthly Flash reporting, enabling the RNLI to manage its financial plans and direction. Flexible working - 26 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays - Competitive pension scheme (employer contributions of up to 10% of basic salary) - Life assurance - As a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst, you will support the FP&A Manager through the coordination of monthly and quarterly financial cycles, and alignment with the annual and longer-term planning work. Responsible for the financial forecasting and Risk & Opportunity process, as well as providing key Financial Reporting to key stakeholders. This will be delivered via engagement with the Head of FP&A, FP&A Manager, Finance Business Partners and wider Planning teams. - Drive analysis and deliver insight that links financial reports to organisation strategy. - Support the development of the organisations 5 Year Plan by providing financial forecasting, modelling and associated analysis. - Lead on the tracking of financial performance against departmental plans and forecasts, drive for corrective action when needed and ensure that plans remain aligned to the overarching RNLI strategy, Business Plans and Budgets You must be a fully qualified member of a recognised accounting body (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and will need: - An established track record of creating and coordinating of financial forecasts, analysis and modelling. - Excellent understanding of financial processes and controls. - Experience coordinating Finance Business Partners to create forecasts and reporting to deadlines This will include relevant criminal record checks being carried out, dependent on the eligibility of the role. (DBS check, Scotland; International, International Child Protection Certificate process).
