Senior Financial Reporting Accountant - Contract

A leading PE-backed professional services business is seeking an ACA/ACCA qualified Financial Accountant to support a critical reporting and finance transformation project directly with the Director of Accounting, you'll join a high-performing international finance team at a time of significant change, helping to improve reporting processes, strengthen controls and deliver key finance initiatives across a complex multi-entity environment. This is a hands-on role combining technical accounting, financial reporting and finance transformation. Support the delivery of statutory accounts and financial reporting activities Analyse and interpret large financial datasets using Excel and finance systems Perform balance sheet reviews, reconciliations and investigation work Support accounting policy, process improvement and control enhancement projects Work closely with finance leadership and international stakeholders to improve reporting quality and governance Play a key role in finance transformation initiatives and systems-led change ACA or ACCA qualified Big 4 or Top 10 audit-trained background preferred Strong IFRS and financial reporting knowledge Experience preparing statutory accounts and supporting audits Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability Immediately available or available at short notice Hybrid working (London) Initial 3-6 month contract Exposure to senior stakeholders and an international finance function If you're an audit-trained Financial Accountant looking for your first or second move into industry and are available at short notice, please apply with an up-to-date CV for a confidential discussion.
