Senior Governance Lawyer — Public Sector Advisory

West Northants Council is seeking a Senior Lawyer (Governance) to provide expert legal advice on governance matters across the organisation. You will work closely with the Monitoring Officer, senior officers and Members to support decision‑making, regulatory matters and conduct issues.

You’ll contribute to the development of governance frameworks, attend meetings to offer legal guidance and mentor colleagues, strengthening the legal service during a period of growth for the new unitary council.
