Advantage Angels is looking for an experienced Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our agency care team, working across care homes in Norwich and the surrounding area. This is a role for someone who leads by example
someone residents trust and junior staff look to for guidance
delivering compassionate, person-centred care while helping keep the home running smoothly on shift. Pay ranges from £17£23 per hour depending on shift pattern, with enhanced rates for weekends and bank holidays. What you'll be doing Delivering personalised care in line with individual care plans, protecting residents' dignity and independence at every step Leading and supporting junior care staff on shift, setting the tone for a positive, well-run team Assisting residents with mobility, personal hygiene, medication support, and meals Keeping accurate, up-to-date records
care plan updates, incident reports, handover notes Acting as a key point of contact between residents, families, and the wider care team Supporting residents' emotional wellbeing through genuine companionship and meaningful activities Upholding health and safety standards, including infection control Sharing your expertise to help train and develop the wider care team What we're looking for Experience working in a care home setting, specifically in senior/supervisory care Proven leadership experience within a healthcare environment Confidence building and applying individual care plans Strong communication skills with residents, families, and colleagues Comfortable using IT systems for documentation and reporting A full driving licence is desirable but not essential Locations we cover Based in Norwich, with placements across the wider Norfolk area including: Norwich Great Yarmouth Postwick Cringleford Wroxham Dereham Diss
