Senior Infrastructure Engineer
Gloucester (on-site)
Normal working hours: Monday-Thursday 08:00-16:30 and Friday 08:00-15:00
Salary: £55-£65k
Were looking for an experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our team, with a strong focus on delivering infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for someone who can take ownership of projects end-to-end while also contributing to the ongoing development and support of a global IT environment.
Youll work closely with international colleagues and lead initiatives such as system upgrades, migrations, and improvements to security and resilience.
Key Responsibilities Lead and deliver infrastructure projects (e.g. migrations, upgrades, rollouts) Manage and optimise IT infrastructure across the UK environment Work with global teams to align standards and processes Ensure systems are secure, scalable, and compliant Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning/testing
Provide technical guidance and leadership to team members Engage with vendors and manage third-party services.
What Were Looking For Strong experience in IT infrastructure (networks, servers, virtualisation, Azure) Proven ability to manage and deliver technical projects Good understanding of security and compliance (ISO 27001, CE+, GDPR) Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively Strong Interpersonal communication and stakeholder management skills
