As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer in Liverpool, you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving IT systems within the life science industry. Your expertise will ensure the smooth running of critical infrastructure, supporting the organisation's technological needs effectively. Client Details This company operates within the life science sector and is based in Liverpool. Description Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance. Implement and oversee system upgrades, patches, and security measures. Provide technical support and troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues. Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions. Create and maintain technical documentation for systems and processes. Ensure data backup and disaster recovery systems are in place and functional. Stay updated with advancements in technology relevant to the life science industry.Profile What we are looking for Strong experience in a senior infrastructure, cloud or technical lead role. Good knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID and Intune. Strong Windows Server, Active Directory and VMware experience. Solid understanding of enterprise networking, firewalls, VPNs and security. Experience leading infrastructure or cloud projects. Strong troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills. Job Offer Permanent position based in Liverpool. 5 days onsite in the office Salary ranging from £55,000 to £60,000, dependent on the level of experience.
